We bid farewell to Orville Lee Fleming of Amherst, Ohio, born in Etty, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 10, 2025 at the age of 99. Orville touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Orville shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Orville farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rosie Fleming; his children, Chester Fleming, Wilma Campos and Joyce Rankin; and his parents, George Fleming and Myrtle Fleming.
He is survived by: his children, Imma Sisler (Carl) of Vermilion, Stella Bingham (Larry) of Kentucky, Brenda Wright (Butch) of Amherst, Bobbie Jo Gerth of Amherst and Catherine Potter (Hank) of Lorain. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.
