He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gumpf and Sarah Gumpf. He is survived by: his wife LaVonne Gumpf (Bonnie); his children, Brad Gumpf (Lori) of Amherst and Karen Hollingsworth (Gale Grayson) of Lakewood; his grandchildren, Tiffany Secrest (Kevin), Lindsey McKinney (Steven), Kaitlyn Breed (Corey) and Will Hollingsworth; and his great grandchildren, Cameryn, Avery Secrest, Milan Lorelei, Jude McKinney, Alexandra and Ben Breed.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Amherst United Methodist Church, 396 Park Avenue, Amherst, OH 44001.
