He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gumpf and Sarah Gumpf. He is survived by: his wife LaVonne Gumpf (Bonnie); his children, Brad Gumpf (Lori) of Amherst and Karen Hollingsworth (Gale Grayson) of Lakewood; his grandchildren, Tiffany Secrest (Kevin), Lindsey McKinney (Steven), Kaitlyn Breed (Corey) and Will Hollingsworth; and his great grandchildren, Cameryn, Avery Secrest, Milan Lorelei, Jude McKinney, Alexandra and Ben Breed.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Amherst United Methodist Church, 396 Park Avenue, Amherst, OH 44001.
