It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vi Robert Alexander Mitchell (Amherst, Ohio), born in Oberlin, Ohio, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Vi's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Vi has bequeathed us. He is survived by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Alexander Mitchell V of Salem, MO and Stephanie Mitchell. He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery.

I can remember years ago when Rob and a couple of his buddies came out to Colorado to visit with Bob. I was fortunate that he and his friends stayed with me for a couple of days.
