It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Ruth Mitchell of Amherst, Ohio, born in Robbins, Tennessee, who passed away on March 22, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James A.; her son James A. Jr.; her parents, John Moore and Mary Louise Moore; her grandson Matthew James Stevens; her son-in-law Kenneth Crawford; and her siblings, Arvil, Patrick, Harry, Marvin, Curtis, Ada, Clara, Cindy and Myrtle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Crawford, Rita Milks (William) and Brenda Stevens (Robert); her grandchildren, Jason (MaryLynn), Justin (Amber), Jonathan, Tonya (Randy), Ritchie (Stacey), April, Brandon (Kimberley), Jimmy (Amanda), Michael (Samantha) and Crystal; and also Tony Mannon. She is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
