We announce the death of Janice M. Johnson of Amsterdam, Ohio, who passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her husband Howard M. Johnson; her parents, Walter Niemiec and Anna Niemiec (Laskowski); and her siblings, Walter Niemiec, Annette Petrozzi, Thomas Niemiec and Barton Niemiec.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Pozna (Michael) and Katherine Wasil (Gary); her grandsons, Sean Rupp (Andrea), Adam Rupp and Kevin Rupp; her great grandchildren, Mikayla, Hannah, Jordan and Miley; her great great grandchildren, Mason and Wrenlee; and her brother John Niemiec (Karen). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
