We announce the death of Bernard J. Baranowski of Andover, Ohio, who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 99. He was predeceased by: his wife Florence (Elter); his parents, Edward Baranowski and Helen Baranowski; his siblings, Henry, Leonard, Robert Baranowski and Genevieve Kozlowski; and his pet Scruffy.
He is survived by: his children, Bernard M. Baranowski and Debra Baranowski (Arleen Wheat); his grandson Bradley Baranowski (Brooke); and his friend Pam Wheat. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schepner-McDermott Funeral Home, Inc. (165 Noble Ave, Crafton, PA 15205). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ascension Catholic Church (114 Berry St, Pittsburgh, PA 15205).
