He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Coon and Corrine Coon (Switzer); his wife Alice Coon (Fay); and his siblings, Arthur Coon and Thelma Parish.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Renae Pace (Matt) of Northfield, Ohio and Richard Sroda (Shanna) of Texas; his grandchildren, Kayla Lapchynski, Robert Sroda (Caysie) and Richard James Sroda (Violet); his great grandchildren, Landon, Sylvia, Ben and Raegan; and his siblings, Darl Coon (Janice) of Andover, Howard Coon (Bonnie McAndrew) of Berkshire and Ellen Thompson of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
