He was predeceased by: his parents, Honor Jesse Dales and Thelma Dales (Sommers); his wife Ruth Dales; and his siblings, Mary Marshall, Charles "Chick" Dales, Richard Dales and Thomas Dales.
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence J. Dales Jr. (Lisa) of Ringgold, GA, Raymond J. Dales (Traci) of Dalton, GA, Michael Scott (William) of Andover and Christina L. Dales of Andover; and his sisters, Lovinah Coffman of Columbiana, OH and Jane Gamble of Salem, OH. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Baumgardner Funeral Homes - Andover (134 Prospect St, Andover, OH 44003). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
