Foster (Shuster); his wife Pamela Oates (Sauers); his daughters, Nicole Oates and Monica Oates; and his siblings, Tom Oates, Charlie Oates (Nancy), Margaret Webker, Tina Smith (Terry), Jamie Miranda (Juan), Velma Priddy, James Oates (Joan), Myrtle Harvey (Bonzell) and David Oates. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren.
