He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Brooks and Altamese Brooks (Davis); and his former wife Carolyn Williams-Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Mary Brooks; his children, Valerie McCoy, Antonio "Tony" Brooks (Kenya), Cynthia Brooks (Ne Quinne) and Altamese Kamara (Michael Benner); his grandchildren, Kwahmeed McCoy, Alvin McCoy, Detanjamar Deshazer, David Lemons (Lori), Reginald Brooks, Kasanie Brooks, Kyle Brooks, Keturah Kamara and Kyden Kamara; his great grandchildren, Kimbri, Kimmora and Bea; and his sisters, Betty Brooks-Wilson and Veronica Brooks-Graydon (Wasdon).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Prince's name to Kidney Foundation of Ohio, Inc, 2831 Prospect Ave. E, Cleveland, OH 44115.
