He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Shaw; his parents, Michael Olshawsky and Anna Olshawsky (Pavlov); and his brothers, Mike, Joe Shaw, George and Andy Olshawsky.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Lynn Gilbert (Thomas); his grandson Frederick Gilbert; and his brother Charlie Olshawsky (Karen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
