With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alfred Daeger of Antwerp, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alfred left this world on April 20, 2024 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Matilda Daeger (Bulach) and Nicholas Daeger; his former life partner Juanita Daeger; his stepdaughter Angie George; and his siblings, Dorothy Hettinger Weiss, Mildred Halbgewoks, Madonna, Raymond and Bernard Daeger.

He is survived by : his wife Donna; his children, Karen Brush (Robert), David Daeger (late Marla), Bruce Daeger (Terri), Jan Kohart (late Van) and Steve Daeger (Jo); and his stepchildren, Dawn Sierra (late Roger), Susan George and Brian George (Dasha). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dooley Funeral Home - Antwerp (202 E River St, Antwerp, OH 45813). A Mass was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 9:45 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church (203 W Townline St, Payne, OH 45880).
