Franklin Pier Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Pier of Antwerp, Ohio, who passed away on February 28, 2026 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Franklin Pier to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Howard and Virginia Pier (Ladd); his sisters, Eileen and Jean; and his daughter Cindy Rae Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Pier (DeMuth); his children, Scott Pier (Stephanie), Jennifer Langham (Fred), Steve Pier (Jessica) and Spence Pier (Sandee); his son-in-law John Adams; and his brothers, Roger, John and David. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dooley Funeral Home (202 E River St, Antwerp, OH 45813). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
