He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Troyer and Fannie D. Troyer (Mast); and his siblings, David Troyer (Clara) and Ella Miller. He is survived by: his wife Edna J. Hershberger; his children, Erma, Miriam Stutzman (Atlee) of Apple Creek, Kathy Stutzman (Alfred) of Apple Creek, Ruth Ann Yoder (David) of Wooster and John Troyer (Fannie) of Fredericksburg; his siblings, Alex (MaryAnn Troyer) of Fredericksburg, Anna Miller (late Mose) of Fredericksburg and Clara Weaver (Dan) of Brinkhaven; and his brother-in-law Joe Miller (Erma) of Apple Creek. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 1 step great-granddaughter.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the David Troyer Residence (13255 Harrison Rd, Apple Creek, OH 44606).
