Carol Lee Preston Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Lee Preston of Arcanum, Ohio, who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Lee Preston to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Smith and Mildred Smith (Hoxie); her husband Robert Ray Preston; her daughter Nancy Blankenship; her granddaughter Macie Preston; her brothers, Jerrie and Guy Smith; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Preston, Edward Garno and Bruce Delk.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Preston, Brian Preston (Angela) and Mark Preston; her grandchildren, Alex Preston (Kendall), Rachel Johnson (Colin), Andrew Ross, Emily Ross, David Blankenship, Samantha Thwaits (Caleb), Cody Preston (Emily), Jordan Preston (Chasta), Sara Preston, Sidney Preston, Kelsie Preston, Lily Preston and Madison Preston; her siblings, Judy Milhoan, Vicki Garno, Pat Hartle (Tom), Lori Delk and Scott Smith (Tamara); her son-in-law Matt Blankenship; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Preston (Judy), Beverly Preston and RaeAnn Smith. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home (1499 N Broadway St, Greenville, OH 45331). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Carol Preston to The Cancer Association of Darke County.
