He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Stutz (Ford); and his brother Leon Stutz. He is survived by: his children, Steven Stutz (Paula), Wayne Stutz (Lori), Dan Gaddy, Pat Phlipot (John) and Tammy Merzke; and his grandchildren, Steven Stutz Jr. (Dani), Chasity Blakeslee (Rick), Kristopher Stutz, Tyler Stutz, Ciara Dunlap (Mitchell), Amanda Arnett (Mitch), Michael Stutz, Kyle Stutz (Nikki), Christina Moser (Brad), Matthew Huffman (Lyndsay), Danny Gaddy (April), Josh Gaddy (Jennifer), Allison Walls (Mike), Stephanie Carter (Brian), Amy Hadden (Rich), Stacey Reynolds, John "Weasel" Phlipot (Megan), Matt Phlipot (Heidi), Mindy Phlipot, Aaron Merzke, Melanie Merzke, Holly Dotson, Mariah Moreno and Alaina Merske. He is also survived by 50 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kreitzer Funeral Home (204 N Main St, Arcanum, OH 45304). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
