He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Alvin and Dorothy Irene Stringer, Sr.; his former wife Nancy Stringer; and his siblings, Gerald Stringer and Nancy Brinegar.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angelica Collins (Duane) of Vandalia and Dorothy Stringer of West Alexandria; his grandchildren, Tiffany Collins, Ashley Wildermuth (Brandon), Casondra Collins, Paige Pelarske (Aaron Bruggeman), Claryssa Collins, Mark Kresal and Scott Koogler, Jr.; his sister Gayle Marsh; and his close friend Janice Rex. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
