He was predeceased by: his parents, David Rupp, and Henrietta Rupp, Sr. (Austermiller); his mother-in-law Carol Speiser; his wife Carol; and his sister-in-law Kay Rupp.
He is survived by: his children, David P. Rupp III, Scott Speiser (Kristi) of Chesterland, OH and Stephanie Schnitkey (Mike) of Archbold, OH; and his siblings, DeeAnn Matheson (Ray), Anthony Rupp (Carla), Gary Rupp, ReNee Nelson (Randy) and Phillip Rupp (Judi). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Archbold United Methodist Church (401 Ditto St, Archbold, OH 43502). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Archbold United Methodist Church or to the donor's favorite charity.
