He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Roth and Norma Roth (Schweitzer); his daughter Jolene; and his sister Nancy Smith. He is survived by: his children, Jenelle Buschur (Robert) of Holland, OH, Jeffrey Roth (Wanda) of Pettisville, OH, Janette Amstutz (Neil) of Goshen, IN and Jay Roth of Archbold, OH.; his family Ed's; and his wife Mildred Bontrager. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 22611 State Rte 2, Archbold, OH 43502. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
The family suggests that memorials be given to Gideons International, Mennonite Central Committee, Elara Caring Hospice or the donor's favorite charity.
