She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Prochaska and Huberta Prochaska (Clark); and her brothers, John Andrew and Paul. She is survived by: her husband Steve of Melrose, Ohio.; her sons, Matthew (Jack Thorne) of Chicago and Andrew of Holland, Ohio; her grandchildren, Declan Ryleigh Switzer-Wells and Caden Matthew Switzer-Wells; and her siblings, Jane Cole (Bill) of Jenera, Ohio, Steve Prochaska (Carla) of Raymond, Ohio, David Prochaska (Susan) of Plain City, Ohio, Dan Prochaska (Susan) of Oxford and Marty Prochaska (Dena) of Kingston, Ohio. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sauder Village (Theatre on the 1920s Main Street, Archbold, Ohio 43502). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Laura's memory to Care and Share, the Pettisville School Foundation, or a charity of the donor's choice.
