It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Jean (Liechty) Grieser in Archbold, Ohio, born in Grabill, Indiana, who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Marilyn Jean may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter A. Liechty, Jr. and Martha Liechty (Yoder); her daughter Beth Anne Neuenschwander; and her granddaughter Hannah Hostetler. She is survived by : her children, Debra Short (Randy) of West Unity and Michael Grieser (Elisabeth Smucker) of Goshen, IN; her son-in-law Steve Neuenschwander of Archbold; and her brother Herbert Liechty (Geri Christner) of Goshen, IN.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Central Mennonite Church (21703 OH-2, Archbold, OH 43502). A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Pettisville Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Central Mennonite Church (21703 OH-2, Archbold, OH 43502).

The family suggests that memorials be given to Gideons International, Mennonite Disaster Service or CHP In-Patient Center.
