He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Lantz and Dorothy Lantz (King). He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Klopfenstein); his children, Wanda (Bret Stopher), Wendell (Dawn), Marsha (Duane Dowdy) and Tammy (Al Riegsecker); and his siblings, Velda (Lowell Becker), Charles (Sharon) and Marilyn (Wayne Short).

In Lieu of flowers, family requests donations being made to Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS).
