She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry and Sue Vesta Couch (Harris); her son Aaron Barber; her son-in-law Michael Short; and her siblings, Boyce Couch, Cathleen McCarrol, Maudine Hightower and Dorris Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Danford Barber; her daughters, Mary Gisel (Ned) of Archbold, Amy Steiner (Jim) of North Carolina and Dana Short of Archbold; and her grandchildren, Lora Rusel (Colin), Claire Gisel, Travis Steiner (Elizabeth), Kirk Steiner (Danielle), Brice Short (Jacque), Casey Banyan (Phoenyx) and Jen Barrow (Cody).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Archbold United Methodist Church (401 Ditto St, Archbold, OH 43502). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Fairlawn Haven in Archbold.
