Robert Leighton Alexander Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Robert Leighton Alexander (Archbold, Ohio) is shared. Robert, born on August 22, 1951, passed away on June 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Robert will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Robert by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Robert is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Robert’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil "Bob" Alexander and Mina Marie Alexander (Merillat); his brother John William Alexander; and his grandson Sawyer James Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mae Alexander; and his children, John Alexander (Sarah), Crystal Alexander (Brian Dotson) and Courtney Garrow (Lucas). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, one great grandson, his sisters, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
