He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Sparks and Ella Mae Sparks (Hildreth); and his son Tim. He is survived by: his wife Rita (Youtzy); his son Todd Sparks of Chesterfield; and his aunt Colleen Borck of Arizona.
