She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer "Bill" Short and Lodema "Jane" Short (Spiess); and her husbands, Carl Steiner and Merlin (Mert). She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Leininger (Sharon) of Maumee and Neil Leininger (Kimm) of Chardon; her stepsons, Rodney Kinsman (Joyce) of Archbold, Lynn Kinsman (Kim) of Archbold and Mike Kinsman of Archbold; her grandchildren, Brooke, Gavin, Brendan, Darby and Raegann Leininger; and her stepgrandchildren, Brady Rable, Matthew, Adam, Neila Branderhorst (Dillion), Mason, Jenae, Kaelyn, Rayne and Adison Kinsman.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a gift in Sue's memory be made to St. John's Christian Church - Memorial Fund.
