It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Howard Spiess (Archbold, Ohio), who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Spiess and Charlotte Spiess (Ruffer); his wife Susanne Schlatter; and his daughter-in-law Cathy Spiess. He is survived by: his children, Richard Spiess, Priscilla Ashley (Mike), Nanette Buehrer (Neil) of Salisbury, NC, John Spiess (Diane) of Sarasota, FL and Phillip Spiess; his grandchildren, Kyle Spiess (Erica), Aimee Roth (Brad), Emily Buehrer-Douglas (Sean), Lydia Buehrer (Kenny Bussey), Nicole Buehrer, Ryan Spiess and Courtney Spiess; and his sibling's children, Numerous, Sophia Douglas, Elijah Douglas, Isabelle Spiess, Tyler Spiess, Jackson Spiess, Evynn Roth and Avery Roth.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to St. John's Christian Church.
