We announce the death of Bertha Lambert of Ashland, Ohio, who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 87. Bertha will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Okie Maynard and Wilda Maynard (Adkins); her husband Dennis Paul Lambert; her sons, Brian Craig Lambert, Timothy Lambert and Dennis Paul Lambert; and her brother Blutcher Maynard.
She is survived by: her son William Lee Lambert (Pamela Jean); and her sisters, Odessa Maynard, Juanita Fisher and Alma Maynard. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (220 Main St, Chapmanville, WV 25508). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
