We announce the death of Caldeen Patton of Ashland, Ohio, who passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 90. Caldeen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Lucille, Randolph, Harold, Earl, Cleopus, Cloteen, Joe and Zane.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Van Scoy (Yolanda), Bruce Van Scoy (Deena), Michelle O'Brien, Brett Van Scoy (Dee) and Greg Van Scoy (Alysia); her grandchildren, Vicente, Jared, Ashley, Bryan, Matthew, Mallory, Timothy, Sean, Amanda, Austin, Addison, Alex and Zach; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Ethan, Madeleine, Lucas, Quinn, Moira, Elyse, Avery, Davian, Rogan, Darius, Haven, Ella, Deliliah and Hazel.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home - Ashland (1058 US-250, Ashland, OH 44805). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the New Haven Cemetery (4373 State Rte 61, Plymouth, OH 44865).
