With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dan J. Hiller of Ashland, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dan J. Hiller to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Hiller and Phyllis Hiller; and his siblings, Ed Hiller (Sharlene) and Sonja Bringman. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hiller of Ashland; his children, Christina Fisher (Scott) of Ashland, Molly McKean (Nate) of Pullman and Joshua Hiller (Stephanie) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Kersti Carmichael (Matt) of Louisville, Thomas Chait of Ashland, Braxton, Hadley McKean, Lillian, Zachary, William, Gracelyn and Jonathan Hiller; and his brother-in-law George Bringman of Ontario.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home (313 Center St, Ashland, OH 44805). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 210 Davis Road, Ashland, Ohio 44805 or the Ashland County Junior Fair, 2042 Claremont Avenue, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
