He is survived by: his children, Nancy Hartsel (Joe Clifford), Scott Hartsel (Heather), Heather Hartsel (David Caudill) and Marcy Fenn; his grandchildren, Lailah Ogden, Alexander Hartsel (Miranda), Summer Kramer, Autumn Sheldon, Betty Jo Bell (Chris) and Gunner Dull; his great grandchildren, Knox, Kinsley and Braxton; his sisters, Pat Fitch (Arden), Pamelia Koppler (Ron), Portia Hamilton, Peg Keller (Howard), Phyllis Lariscy (John) and Carol Ingelas; and his close friend Linda Donelson.
