Franklin Harned Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Harned of Ashland, Ohio, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Franklin Harned to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Harned and Josephine Harned; and his wife Jan of Jeromesville. He is survived by: his children, Doug Harned of Dublin, Steve Harned of Ashland, Cindy Harned-Keys (Randy) of Hilliard and Sandy Mutchler (Don) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Gina Stutz of Galloway, ShaNa Benner (Jeff) of Nova, Kevin Goon of Marysville, Brad Moyers of Tennessee, Katie Keating (Todd) of Ashland, Sarah Flanigan (Kevin) of Dublin, Brandon Harned (Amanda) of New Franklin, Logan Harned of Ashland and Rachel Harned of California; his sister Jone Horner of Ashland; and his sister-in-law Shirley Austen of Ashland. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cross Connect Church (495 Co Rd 2302, Loudonville, OH 44842). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Jeromesville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Ashland County Cancer Association.
