She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Strine and Bessie Strine (Shepherd); her husband Ross Cody; and her sons, Steven and Berry.

She is survived by: her sons, William Cody (Sandy) of Ashland and Craig Cody of Ashland. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren; 21 great- grandchildren; along with her 4 great- great- grandchildren.
