She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Covert and Mabel Covert; her stepfather Arthur Hiner; her sister Marilyn Copus; her daughter Susan Derr; her children-in-law, Becky Haun, Ron Schuck and John Bush; her grandson Sandy Rush; and her great grandchild Amara Rose Evans.
She is survived by: her husband George Derr; and her sister Susan Gould (Mike). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice or First United Methodist Church.
