He was predeceased by: his parents, George Funk and Clara Benepe Funk; his wife Mary Funk; his grandson Matthew Funk; and his sister Georgia.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Funk, Howard Funk (Marie) of Orrville and Mark Funk (Kristi Ferguson) of Ashland; and his grandchildren, Brittany Poling (Ryan), Dean Funk (Kelsi), Benjamin Funk (Jacqueline) and Samantha Funk. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fickes Funeral Home (84 N High St, Jeromesville, OH 44840). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
