With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John R. Wanamaker of Ashland, Ohio, who passed away on March 20, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wanamaker and Marietta Wanamaker; and his sister Jean Caron (Roger). He is survived by: his wife Doris Keammerer; his children, Joanne Woods (Duane) of Victoria, Jean Minnick of Fairlawn, Donna Fagerhaug (Steve) of Burton and Jim Wanamaker (Jennifer) of North Tonawanda; his grandchildren, Andy Woods (Alexis), Dan Woods, Jennifer Woods (Emily), Sarah Fagerhaug (Shay), Aubrey Fagerhaug, Sheena Tipton (Emanuel), Emily Wanamaker and David Wanamaker; and his brother Ray Wanamaker (Connie) of Columbus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
