With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marjorie L. Elson of Ashland, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Robert and Lera Ruth Fox; her husband Gaylord Harold Elson; and her siblings, David, Robert Fox and Mary E. Rogers.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Elson (Robin) of Ashland, Ronald Elson (Charlotte) of Ashland and Jim Elson (Darlene) of Ashland; and her grandchildren, Mike Stroub, Levi Elson, Brittany Schmidt (Jerret), David Elson (Jessica), Tiffany Elson, Jesse Elson (Lauren), Curtis Elson (Halley), Jordan Stroub (Kelly), Zach Stroub (Kim), Nate Stroub (Victoria), Trevor Stroub (Chloee), Cayleigh Elson, McKinley Gibbons, Tucker Elson, Laura Elson, Ella Elson, Addison, Hayden, Aubrey, Gunner, Elizabeth, Evelyn, Jameson and Jensen Stroub.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home (313 Center St, Ashland, OH 44805). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Polk Church of Christ, 204 E Congress St, Polk, Ohio 44866. For those not able to attend, expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family by visiting denbowfh.com.
