We are sad to announce that, on February 1, 2026, at the age of 92, Marsalee Burgess of Ashland, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert Straight and Mildred Straight; her husband Wilbur Burgess; and her siblings, Charles, Jack and Juanita "Susie".
She is survived by: her children, Wilbur "Chuck" Burgess (Rose Ann), Linda "Diane" Waddles (Ed) and Melody Bodnar (Bill); her grandchildren, Brian Burgess, Jacob Painter, Charles Burgess, Tanya Burgess, Rachel Painter, Stacy Burgess, Erin Keysor and Danielle Abrams; her stepgrandchildren, Stephen M. Crowe Jr., John P. Crowe, Jason Waddles, Angela M. Wilson and Brooke Miller; and her siblings, Bert, Reba, Dora, Branda, Linda, Becky, Nora and Mildred "Boney". She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ashland County Dog Shelter or to Gentiva Hospice.
