We bid farewell to Mary Shonkwiler of Ashland, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 17, 2025 at the age of 90. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayes Richard and Marie Price; and her sister Donna Jean Pickering. She is survived by: her husband Everett C. Shonkwiler; her son Todd Shonkwiler (Glenda) of Ashland; her granddaughter Madison Hillman (Colin) of Ashland; her nieces, Cherie Whitmore (Kevin) and Cindy Himes (Stacey); her great-nephew Brandon; and her great-nieces, Caitlin and Jennifer.

A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ashland Cemetery (523 W Main St, Ashland, OH 44805).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ashland Christian School.
