Peter Franz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peter Franz of Ashland, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Peter shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Peter farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Franz and Susanna Franz (Schmidt); his children, Eric Franz and Adele Franz; and his brother Josef Franz.
He is survived by: his wife Lotte Franz (Reth); his daughter Annette Franz; and his grandchildren, Brandon Gleneicki and Zane Gleneicki.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Matteson Funeral Home (40 Congress Rd, West Salem, OH 44287). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
