He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Dick" Witmer and Edna Witmer (Watson); and his brother Ed Witmer. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Witmer (Emerick); his stepchildren, Stacey Zook (Harvey) of Mansfield and Brett Collins (Breanna) of Mansfield; and his grandchildren, Juniper Zook, Bristol Collins and Blake Collins.
