She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Egner and Lenna Egner; her husband Red; her grandson Drew Bates; and her sisters, Francis Stafford (Dick), Thelma Rock (Delbert) and Jeanette Bowerize (Mose).
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Bates (Barbara) of Ashland and Dennis Bates (Carla) of Ashland; her grandsons, Travis Bates (Ranita), Tyler Bates (Missie), Eric Bates (Ashley), Marty Bates (Johanna) and Brad Bates (Mindy); her granddaughter-in-law Amanda Dziak; and her great grandchildren, Mattie, Karsyn, Cole, Shelby, Jase, Piper and Harper Bates.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nankin Cemetery (776 OH-302, Ashland, OH 44805).
