He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Irwin and Jean Irwin (Welch); his wife Dotty M. Irwin (Steward); and his daughter Teri J. Owens. He is survived by: his son Bill Irwin; his granddaughter Emily Owens; his brother Alan Irwin; his sister-in-law Sherry; and his girlfriend Mary Lee Hammond.
