He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Banbury and Annabelle Banbury; his wife DeLee Hileman of New London; and his sister Harriett Webster of Charlotte. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Germain (Richard) of Columbus Ohio and Ann Van Scoy (Scott) of Ashland, Ohio; his grandchildren, Paul Germain (Sarah Jane), Margaret Lamb (Quinn), John Germain (Taylor), Molly Houk (Charlie), Benjamin, William and Mary Van Scoy; and his great grandchildren, Leigh, Lucy Germain, Jack, Charlie, Birdie Lamb, Henry and William Germain.
