He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Goon and Mary Etta Goon; his siblings, Dick Goon, Sheila Mondragon (Bob) and Charlotte Dodds (Jack); his brother-in-law Jim Beattie; Virgil and Marge Whitcomb.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Goon; his children, Tina Goon of Ashland and Aaron Goon (Chanda) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Andrew Goon-Patterson, Adam Harding (Emily), Avery Goon and Allison Goon; his great grandchildren, Zayne, Ian, Kinsley, Paisley, Penelope, Tucker and Sutton; his sisters, Bonnie Howell (Doug) and Peggy Kalstrom (Mark); and his siblings-in-law, Karen Goon, Joyce Snyder (Dan), Becky Beattie and Dean Whitcomb. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
