Though Yvonne may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond (Buss) and Anna Hyams (Meininger); her former husband Kenneth R. Hissong; her husband Ivan L. Shire; and her cousin Karen Beaver.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Hissong (Cheryl) of Ashland, Tom Hissong (Reve) of Arlington, Debbie Gross Jr. (Zane) of Ashland and Terry Hissong (Layle) of Pea Ridge, Arkansas.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heyl Funeral Home (227 Broad St, Ashland, OH 44805). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
