With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty S. Kist of Ashtabula, Ohio, who passed away on June 7, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty S. Kist to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Parker Poling and Ethel Poling (Keller); her husband John; and her siblings, Dorothy Simmons and Franklin Poling.

She is survived by: her sons, John Kist Jr. of GIrard, Timothy Kist (Lisa) of Springville, Daniel Kist (Suzanne) of Ashtabula and James Kist (Tara) of Perry, Ohio.; and her granddaughters, Emily, Abby, Sydney and Briana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church.
