We bid farewell to Carolyn Johnston of Ashtabula, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 24, 2025 at the age of 91. Carolyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Regal and Ethel Regal (Petry); her son Fred Wheeler; her daughter-in-law Susan Wheeler; and her sister Marianne DeWalt.
She is survived by: her husband James L. Johnston; her children, Cheryl Fuller (Mike) and Phillip Johnston (Sandy); her brothers, Fred Regal (Joanne) and Patrick Regal (Beverly); and her grandchildren, Arron Fuller, Michelle Brockett (Todd), Blake Johnston, Erin White (Andrew), Lindsey Selip (Josh) and Clayton Wheeler (Mae). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the East Side Presbyterian Church.
