With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eli James Kalil of Ashtabula, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Kalil and Jamelia Kalil (Niemer); his siblings, Liz, Juliet, Joseph, Rose and Paul; and his grandson Jaime Presciano.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Marie Takacs; his children, Dennis Kalil (Anita), Debbie Presciano (Anthony), Ronald Kalil (Karen), David Kalil (Andrea) and Diane Zappitelli (Tom); his grandchildren, Arimys Kalil (Jeff), Jamalia Kalil (Stephen), Samantha Kalil, Michael Dibble (Melissa), Tabitha Allshouse (Justin), Kristi Donato (Mike), Tony Presciano, Nick Presciano (Ashley), Ronnie Kalil (Tori), Ashley Runyon (Chris), Eli Kalil, Matthew Zappitelli (Alissa) and Mallory Brown (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Abra, Talia, Aja, Asher, Conley, Carmen, Lexi, Ana, Mason, Cooper, Jagger, Lexie, Tommy, Charlie, Frankie, Logan, Avery, Emmet and Bella; his great great grandchildren, Alani and Gianna; and his nieces, Cyndi, Kim, Lisa and Paula.
