He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Benedict and Gloria Benedict. He is survived by: his children, Chuck Stevenson and Amy Thomas; his sister Jeannie Nerad (family: Ryan, Lydia, Emerie Benedict); and his brother-in-law Kurt Nerad. He is also survived by his nephew and family.
In honor of Freddie's generous spirit, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, reflecting his commitment to helping others.
